Positive: Lovely farm experience. Very peaceful place for walks in the area and to chill, cook, read a book - or rather use the space for a silent few days to focus and get some work done.
Negative: I wonder why are no duvet/pillows sourced. I took my own sleeping bag. Not a major problem.
Summary: Wonderful place to enjoy nature and relax

Positive: Location, very peaceful area. Lovely welcome from the friendly owners.
Negative: The driveway to the property. It’s very steep and best suited to a 4x4 as traction on the rough loose service can be an issue.
Summary: Enjoyable stay but can’t help but think that it would be a better place if they replaced the bunk beds with a proper dou

Positive: Rustic barn, everything you needed was handy, very clean and I especially enjoyed the log burner.
Negative: The lack of WiFi only because the mobile network internet is so poor that I couldn’t rely on it at all. Mostly the mobile internet is not working and even if you have your own personal data allowance you can’t use it. Having WiFi means the guest can have access to internet.
Summary: Excellent

Positive: Very pleasant compact accommodation - everything I needed was there. Quiet & mattress comfortable. Enjoyed no TV, internet and able to come and go as I pleased.
Negative: The approach road to the Cart Shed. Very rutted and potholed. May be alright for a 4x4 vehicle or a land rover but not a saloon, hatchback, sports car not a good advert to encourage a future stay. I had to drive at 5 mph to avoid damage to my car's suspension. It was not a straightforward track, one was constantly watching out for the deep holes & unevenness of the track. Moreover the last bit was down a steep gradient. First night fine but when I arrived second night a whirring noise in the electric cupboard. Went off after 20 minutes but then woken up around midnight with the same noise. The following morning decided to have a shower and just cold water. This was the same for the washbasin - no hot water. Had to boil water in the kettle. Had I been staying longer I would have taken the matter up with the host. All unsatisfactory!
Summary: Great place but access road & utilities unsatisfactory.

Negative: Access road was more suitable for 4wd high ground clearance vehicles!
Summary: Very peaceful and quiet and accomodation was clean and comfortable and spacious
