Positive: The room was nice and looked lovely. The pub was also excellent. Lovely food and great cider.

Negative: The pipes made loud clanging sounds a couple of times in the night.

Positive: The location for my purpose was excellent. Attending wedding reception in a location 2 minute drive from the pub. Staff were lovely…

Negative: The breakfast. No cereals or fruit or juice. Just s main plate of full english or whatever combination. No toast and marmalade or pastries. Very poor choice and quality. Bed not comfortable… spring interior mattress with a topper didn't disguise age of the mattress. Also I was single traveller, so I guess I was paying for single occupancy of double room. The place was not full, think there was only one other room occupied.

Summary: A convenient overnight the location of which suited me fine. Overpriced for what it offered.

Positive: Large clean room with excellent shower. Staff all very courteous, friendly and helpful. Though limited menu food in the evening was good and breakfast the next morning was excellent.

Negative: The outside of the building needs a little tlc as looks a little shabby on arrival. However we would go back as good points make up for this.
