Positive: My favourite things about the property was the attention to detail Jane (The host) made around the cottage. The decoration is dated but in the most modern way, which is perfection to me. It’s extremely homely and comfortable and it is private! Jane has 4 beautiful horses which were very friendly and a lovely dog called pebbles! She is well known in the area, everyone we spoke to knew where we were staying and referred it as “Jane’s place” which was extremely sweet. Jane has gone above and beyond at the property is taking great care of it, baking us a cake on arrival, having a birthday card waiting of my partner and prosecco ready! Which was a wonderful touch for me and my partner! But the blessing was, after driving 4 hours which was my first long drive ever after recently passing my driving. I was 3/4 hours earlier then planned, and Jane once again very welcoming gave us the keys earlier so I could rest. Which to me was the kindest and generous thing. Couldn’t be more grateful for her efforts. Thank you again Jane!

Positive: Probably the best equipped holiday home we have stayed in. The host seems to have thought of every requirement, and everything is high quality. The location is perfect for a base to visit the sites the surrounding area has to offer, and there are two good pubs nearby, both serving good food. One is walkable, and the other a five minute drive. Our host was quick to communicate, and was on hand to support any needs during our stay. Thoroughly recommended if you are looking accommodation in this lovely part of Somerset.

Positive: Absolutely wonderful property. Large, beautifully furnished, fantastically equipped (the owner has thought of everything you'd ever need in a holiday property - and more), great kitchen, very comfortable beds, brilliant private outside space, very nice bathroom. Very quiet location and near lovely coastline and easy walking to the beautiful Quantock Hills. The owner supplied a cake, which was a lovely touch. If it's available for our future trips in that area, we will definitely go back.

Positive: It was a lovely cottage in a lovely and quiet part of Somerset. It was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The welcome pack of food / milk and especially the lemon cake was very much appreciated. We had an enjoyable and much needed relaxing break

Positive: We highly recommend booking this cottage. The host is exceptionally helpful and welcoming, it’s very clean and has everything you could possibly need and more!! It’s decorated beautifully and everything is very high quality. Our dog was made as welcome as we were. The cottage is situated in a beautiful village and is a great base to explore Somerset. The best part was the homemade cake which was amazing with a cup of tea after the journey. Thank you we will definitely return 😊
