Positive: The Bobbin cottage is a beautifully restored cow shed and is delightful. We arrived to a smiling man holding a bottle of prosecco for us. Andy is a great host and the cottage has everything you need and more. It is on a busy road which can be a bit noisy but the upside is that you can be in Matlock in 10 mins. We ate at The Kelsidge up the road which was very good. We will definitely book the cottage again.

Positive: The location was ideal for exploring the Peak District and surrounding area. The cottage was very comfortable with a nice pub in the village.

Negative: We didnt have and dishes that were suitable for the microwave but that didn't spoil out stay.

Positive: Beautiful cottage and the owners Rachel and Andy were very helpful. The duvet was a bit too warm for us and Rachel provided us with two alternatives which we could choose from.

Negative: It is unfortunately situated on a busy road, especially on weekdays between 8-9am.

Summary: We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Positive: Proprietors very friendly and helpful. Very clean , modern, everything you needed. Great information folders well presented

Negative: The mattress on the double bed was a touch lumpy. But it was a small thing, our stay was exceptional
