Positive: I was made to feel welcome from the moment of arrival, with the hot tub pre-heated, a bottle of complimentary prosecco and shortbreads. There were also dressing gowns to use as well as milk, butter and different kinds of spreads in the fridge. The decor of the property was beautiful throughout and was very clean. There was also Sky TV and a comfy seated area, perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was a lovely addition too. The host Ben even kept an eye on the hot tub for me while I went out to eat (it's a wood-fired hot tub, so it requires logs to keep it heated). He also lit the hot tub for me on the second day of my trip too.

Summary: Excellent, would stay again.

Positive: I liked everything. It was a cosy little 1 bedroom apartment with everything you need. Amazing views and an unreal location. Lots of great place to walk around the area if you have a 4 legged friend. Ben was so lovely, came when we needed help with the log burner to heat the hot tub up, and replies were very quick.

Negative: Bed was slightly uncomfortable, caved in a little bit.

Summary: Would definitely stay again.

Positive: I stayed here with my partner and we absolutely loved it! It was cosy but spacious and bigger than it seemed in the photos. It was so modern and designed really well, the owners have clearly put a lot of thought into how best to utilise the space. The welcome pack was absolutely lovely and the notes left for us were very thorough and helpful. There were a lot of little touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. Extra bonus was that there was a hair dryer provided, which we weren't sure of from the listing. The area was lovely to stay in too, everyone was extremely friendly and chatty! It was very dark in the evening but the torch that was included was an absolute bonus. We visited the local shop, the tuck shop and a couple of pubs - all of which were within a five minute walk. We didn't need to leave the area during our stay despite it being fairly remote - although there is a Tesco and Aldi a short drive away.

Negative: The only thing I can think of is that it would've been helpful to have a little sanitary bin in the bathroom.

Positive: This was a lovely cottage with great facilities. Ben & Amy were really helpful and responded to any queries quickly. The bed was really comfortable. The village is quiet but we enjoyed breakfast at Stamp Cafe and evening meal at Crispin Inn. Both great establishments. We will return.

Positive: lovely apartment on the side of owners home, new in 2025 - the owners have thought of everything and finished the apartment to a high level. Some welcome treats/essentials are left, which is a nice touch; prosecco, milk, shortbreads, butter and some jams, not sure if there was meant to be bread too. coffee machine with pods and selection of tees. We cooked some nice steaks… the kitchen is well equipped and everything is brand new. there’s no oven though… not an issue, just we’d wrongly assumed there was, so just to note. The tub really is the highlight, was lovely and relaxing. love that’s its log fire heated. with only having stayed 1 night it would have been nice for check out to be 11 rather than 10… but that’s the downfall of only staying 1 night, which was our own choice of course. Some nice pubs in the village, and the Stamp cafe looked lovely… but we learnt too late that a reservation should be made for breakfast, prob due to the weekend and how popular it is. Next time… ☺️
