Positive: The hosts were easy to contact. The accommodation was beautiful. Loved the music playing when we arrived. Appreciated the clear information and instructions that were prepared for gusets. Was an absolutely appropriate stay for a romantic get away. Loved the beer bar, TV and entertainment options, and spa. Couldn't fault anything.

Negative: Having a stove or an oven would've been good as we took breakfast food, otherwise, there were some great options for eating out.

Summary: It was romantic, classy, clean, spacious, and perfect for what we wanted.

Positive: Everything! I didn't want to leave. I highly recommend the stay. It's relaxing, clean, and vibey! What topped it off was checking in with music playing. The speakers had great bass, and Alexa is so convenient to have. I used the spa as much as I could. Everything was perfect and top tier. I would choose this place over a 5 star hotel any time. Thank you!

Positive: The suitability of the location depends on the guest/s. For me, I wanted somewhere close to Kumeu Retirement Village but also close to family at Riverhead, and handy to the motorway. It ticked all my boxes. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and in good working order.

Negative: If I had to look for a fault - and yes, I had to really look for it - it would be the lack of curtains or blinds on the glass front door and the laundry window. Both opaque but felt a little exposed at night time, with the lights on.

Summary: Fantastic short/long stay accommodation, close to Kumeu & Riverhead. 30-40mins to AKL airport/city.
