Summary: Prompt easy check in. Lovely breakfast nice clean room with a comfortable bed. ideal location. Excellent meal in the evening was quite busy for a midweek so had a lovely atmosphere in there. Garden area lovely and spacious with plenty of outside seating

Summary: Beautiful place, wished we were staying longer. All areas tastefully decorated & the outside areas are lovely & private even though its a big area. Room 3 is lovely, comfy bed, again beautifully decorated but the shower, is huge & powerful. Heaven!! If we are in the area again, definitely staying here. Thanks to the fabulous staff too.

Summary: This place is amazing value. Lovely room and very large bathroom. Evening meal excellent so much choice. Best breakfast we have ever had. Got doggy welcome pack as well. Wish we had this pub as our local.I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Summary: Great stay as always , but too much piped pop music in the bar which comes up through the floor and no-one needs more piped pop music at breakfast...its not a disco!

Summary: Room 1 bedroom has no windows and no fresh air. It was given to a couple staying for 4 nights!! To replace it for the remaining 3 nights we were placed in the front room 6 on the main road. The staff didn't provide a welcome nor any care for our comfort. When asked for a box of tissues, it was not provided. Obviously the bar traffic makes up for poor attention to detail to those staying in the bedrooms. As for the food, the Chicken Milanese was cooked twice and like leather. Even the salad portions were poor. We do not recommend this tavern for overnight stays, despite the obvious closeness to so many beautiful Cotswold villages and other venues. The lunch service and food was good.

Summary: Food was lovely and love that there’s so many gluten free options. Disappointed that you didn’t have gluten free sausages for breakfast. Room was lovely just a shame that the windows are frosted as feels claustrophobic. Also quite noisy from room above. Pleased to have a bath in the room though.
