Positive: Very comfortable, homely feeling in a beautiful location! The house was super clean and had everything we needed for a longer stay- kitchen necessities, books to read, a welcome guide with important info and local tips, throw blankets for cozy evenings on the couch, etc. Shops and eateries were all within a few minutes walk from the house. The older architecture added to the charm, but guests with limited mobility should take this into consideration, as the stairs could be tricky. The same applies to the beautiful views that require walking up a healthy hill. There were lovely walks around the area, which we read about in the guide, and plenty of sites to see and explore just a short drive away. The house is perfectly located for people with or without a car, depending on what adventures you have in store. We are already planning to come and stay again, hopefully for even longer. :)

Negative: Be sure to arrive in the daylight and do not trust Google Maps (which sent us too far up the road)! It was very difficult to find the front door, which is turned away from the main road and well hidden, and we had to phone the out of hours emergency help number to get a better description of where to find it. Another note regarding mobility- parking is not available on the same street, but there is a free carpark a short walk away (not necessarily a negative point, but something to be aware of).
