Positive: Beautiful location Very clean Amazing array of information provided by host pre arrival Lovely starter kit- tea, biscuits, milk, clothes, wash up liquid, kitchen roll etc Garden was so sweet

Negative: Dishwasher!!!??? We liked the location but those with young children or elderly relatives may struggle with steep hill from car to door and stairs in accommodation

Positive: Really comfortable and beautifully refurbished and fitted cottage. We stayed with two of us and it was everything we wanted. Good views over the village and the countryside around too. Wirksworth is an interesting and quirky village with good local walks and easy access to places of interest around. The owners were very friendly and helpful when we had an issue adjusting the heating control which they fixed for us straight away.

Negative: Nothing really, but it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with impaired mobility. You can't get a car up to the cottage, there is parking down the hill but the path up to the cottage is steep and irregular -good exercise though!

Positive: The location was beautiful as well as the log burner. The welcome cookies & milk were appreciated. The directions to the property were extensive & detailed, however a more obvious sign or marker would have helped! Thanks again & will definitely be returning!

Positive: Location was excellent, little house felt like a palace. Was concerned it would be on the small side for my husband and I and our two teenage children - but the rooms are large. Getting into the property does not pose any problems - great instructions, plus its a very very pretty cottage with super comfortable interiors. Loved sitting out front on the bench in the sunshine - 5mins walk to coffee, dinner, pub, action.

Negative: Nothing,,,,it was perfect. Never met the hosts - no need - so cannot comment on them.

Summary: Would definitely book again
