Summary: For the price this was an excellently appointed room and very comfortable. Very well situated at the east end of Marlborough high street. Parking is at one of the long stay car parks approx 200m away. The only downside to the central location is that this is a pub and on a Saturday night it can get noisy admittedly mostly from a different establishment. But given the central location I was expecting this so fine. Full breakfasts are available for about £7 in the on premises cafe which on Sunday morning was probably the only cafe open.

Summary: Booked this hotel for an overnight stay in the week and was pleasantly surprised by the very accommodating staff and how lovely the room was. My one criticism would be that they should update their photos as the rooms are actually much nicer! Had a cosy feel and all the amenities you’d expect. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The Bear was clean with everything you need. Nice shower. Only problem is traffic noise which is obviously beyond their control.

Summary: The room and bathroom was spacious and very comfortable and peaceful; the staff were friendly and attentive. Old fashioned and atmospheric. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay again. The Polly Tearooms nearby is a lovely place for breakfast.
