Positive: Beautiful, clean and such a great location in Ammoudi. Not many stairs at all very easy to get to. We were greeted by the host right out of the taxi who walked us to the room and showed us around. Snacks were provided, water, eggs, milk etc. Nicole was so lovely in helping with transfers also.

Positive: The Bay Loft was a charming apartment conveniently situated above the Sunset Ammoudi Restaurant and offers a STUNNING view of the sea. Oia is known for its breathtaking sunsets and the streets were thick with tourists trying to catch a glimpse of this, BUT....I was able to do that while sipping wine at the privacy of the loft's balcony. Nikol was an exceptional host. The Loft was a beautiful place already, but her heart-warming welcome made my experience all the more unforgettable. She ensured that the place was stocked with all the necessities: coffee, bread, honey, jams, eggs, milk, snacks, fresh fruits, and a bottle of wine :) She also filled the refrigerator with seven 1-liter water bottles that were much-needed due to the heat. Overall, The Bay Loft exceeded all of my expectations and to give it 10/10 feels unjust since it deserves a 20!!!!

Positive: Our host Nicola had provided us with everything we needed for breakfast. She had great attention to detail and was very helpful with us whenever we needed it. Nicola attended to all our needs such as a sailing trip on a catamaran, all we had to do was ask. She arranged our pick up at the airport and she also arranged for us to be dropped off at the ferry when we left. We loved the whole experience.

Negative: There was not a thing we didn’t like. Ammoudi bay is out of the fray and that was what we wanted. The local restaurants are good or you can go up to Oia if you want more choice.

Summary: We really liked The Bay Loft - it was a stylish getaway from the crowds of Oia.

Positive: The Host!! Nikoletta is an absolutely amazing host who took time to greet us upon arrival and even drive us to the restaurant in Oia that we booked for dinner. She maintains her beautiful traditional Santorini home in a pristine state and also offers welcoming conveniences such as espresso coffee, snacks and water. The house's location above the Sunset Restaurant with a clear view from the property's well-sized balcony of beautiful Ammoudi Bay is also a unique advantage of this lovely property. We were sad to have to leave after our one night stay.
