Negative: The rooms were tired and slightly scruffy. One of the mattresses in our twin room was definitely past its best. The window couldn’t be latched.

Positive: The hotel had great facilities, really good breakfast, room was very comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly. The bar food was excellent, not cheap, but very good cuts of meat.

Negative: I would have liked more vegetarian food options in the bar and restaurant. The side lighting in the bedroom was poor and difficult to read in bed.

Positive: Great place to get some relaxation. You can make spa day there in reasonable price. Large heated swimming pool plus jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Nice food. Loads of parking spaces. Helpful staff.
