Positive: The property was just to our taste and Phil and Jude were so friendly and accommodating, we couldn’t have asked for better hosts! The area is beautiful and fairly quiet. A few lovely walks nearby. Just what we needed to recharge our batteries after a fairly difficult year. Would definitely come again!

Positive: The property is really spacious and comfortable, we felt very at home. The host was friendly and communication was excellent. The area is beautiful, incredibly peaceful and a relaxing place to come back to after spending the day in the busy city. On a clear night the view of the stars is stunning as there is no light pollution to spoil it. The parking at the local train stations is free - Gorebridge and Newtongrange both a short drive away, making for an easy journey into Edinburgh. We enjoyed a lovely meal at Gigi’s Italian in Bonnyrigg on our first night and enjoyed our time exploring the city.

Negative: We had an enjoyable stay overall and nothing we didn’t like - it’s just worth noting that it can get muddy at the front of the property so be sure to have suitable footwear!
