Summary: Such a beautiful house with an amazing pool. Very well equipped. We stayed as a family of four with two sets of grandparents. It was perfect. We loved Perigueux and did a lot of activities in the area. Aude was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic stay.

Summary: We had such a amazing two week stay! The house is beautiful, extremely well equipped with more than ample sized bedrooms and receptions rooms, all finished to a very high standard - modern, but in keeping with house and surroundings. The table football and table tennis table were an extra bonus and were well used by all. The upstairs rooms had air-conditioning which was needed in 40 degree heat, whilst the master suite on the ground floor was cool enough without. The grounds are beautiful too, well maintained, spacious, many areas to explore and relax in and extremely private. The pool was a god send in the heat, again well maintained and more than big enough for 4 adults and 4 kids. It has a pool alarm (which sounds if the surface water is broken) so that gave us extra peace of mind, having smaller children. We found we were perfectly located to many large and smaller supermarkets - all literally within 5 mins drive, some less and also all the surround towns and sites we wanted to visit. Aude is a simply fantastic host, always on hand, attentive and so helpful, without being at all intrusive. We highly recommend anyone staying at L'éclat, we had a perfect French family holiday!

Summary: This is one of the best holiday houses we've stayed in ! Lots of space inside with 2 living room/TV areas, 4 large bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of glasses & plates and all the expected utensils inc multiple coffee machines! The outside area has several seating areas getting the sun at different times & plenty of shaded areas. The pool is all one depth and has a pool alarm. The ping pong table and the "babyfoot" table were used on a daily basis for family challenges ! While the WiFi worked well when all of us were on it at the same time. The house is on a quiet residential road and very secure with several supermarkets and boulangerie's close by. Communication with Aude was very easy over WhatsApp & she was very responsive to any questions we had. A fantastic house to stay in if visiting the Dordogne!

Summary: This home is in a suburban area outside Périgueux. It is a large home on a private lot with a pool. Very quiet and secure with all the amenities for a pleasant stay. Easy drive to the major sites like Brantome, Périgueux and Bourdeilles. Highly recommended.
