Positive: Super friendly family (quick to contact through WhatsApp) who helped us to get the local bus to Ban Gioc and booked us a car to get to Gods Eye Mountain. We could leave our big bags in lockers while we went away for a couple days. Stayed another night when we returned. A short walk across the river to more food options and the city centre. The room was huge, big king beds with comfy bedding, very clean and good shower/bathroom, AC was quiet and worked well.

Summary: Amazing homestay! Wish we stayed longer!

Positive: The family running this homestay were super friendly and helpful, and had good english and were very available on whatsapp. The bed was soft! It had a nice patio, and a kitchen/fridge you could use. Everything was very clean and the location was in quiet area, but also a fair walk away from the main centre.

Negative: Soap available in the toilet for washing your hands would have been nice

Positive: hotel is in a nice location , a quiet street, restaurants very close. The lady-owner was extremely helpfull with everything. you can rent scooters there and do a loop ,she can also book bustickets for the next trip and bring you to the busstop.

Positive: Rooms were really big. The lady that runs the place helped us in everything from renting us motorcycles, ordering coffee for us to finding us bus schedules and possible destinations during our stay.

Positive: We had the most wonderful stay here! We were originally planning to stay for only 1 night but due to the amazing facilities and lovely host we decided to stay for other 3 nights! The homestay is in a great location, very central but still quiet from the buzz of the roads. The room itself was very homely, really cool with the air conditioning and the outdoor terrace had a really nice vibe with a fridge, kettle and cutlery if you need to make your own food. I would highly highly recommend this place!!

Positive: The owners are really friendly. They helped me rent a motorbike and showed me the way to the bus to Ban Gioc. When my bus to Ba Be lake got cancelled the husband drove me himself! The shower was good and warm for a long time. Good value for the price!

Negative: It's a homestay so there is a bit of noise in the evening but it doesn't go on for too long and is to be expected. The bikes are more expensive compared to the rest of Vietnam but in Cao Bang it seemed to be the normal price. The bed was a bit harder but this seems to be standaard in Vietnam.

Negative: The noise. My room was next to the entrance and I couldn’t sleep at all due to the noise. They didn’t provide me options for this. The AC didn’t work well.
