Positive: Thuy was great. She helped out with advice on what to visit, where to eat, bus bookings and many random questions. We were able to rent a scooter direct which was perfect. The homestay is very clean with great showers & aircon. Great beds and its quiet as it is on the edge of town. We slept very well here. Its a really interesting town with a good vibe, a great market & lots of trees. "Almost" on an island.... So quite different to most other towns we visited and not at all touristy. We spent a day riding in the countryside.... Went to the Ban Gioc waterfall. Great ride but very touristy. The Gods Eye was a standout as very low key, stunning scenery - take a picnic and spend a few hours here! Thank you Thuy!

Positive: Our room was very spacious & clean. On all floors was a common area and you could buy cooled drinked for a good price. The host Thuy is so nice and helpful, and speaks very good English. The housekeeper is very nice as well and makes a good breakfast! We rented scooters and they were very good quality. Thuy also helped us with our transfer to Cat Ba & gave us some tips. Definitely recommend staying here!

Negative: It would be nice to have a water refill possibility to reduce the amount of plastic bottles you have to buy. Not a big problem, just a thought :)

Positive: We really enjoyed our five nights staying with Thuy and her family. The room was spacious and the shower had excellent pressure. We were really well looked after with breakfast each morning, motor bike hire, excellent local advice including map directions. Thuy even orders dinner in if you do not want to go out. Highly recommended!

Positive: The host was so nice and helpful. We could rent scooters and she helped us book bus tickets which were not available online. We even could borrow jackets from her. The rooms were also very modern and super clean.

Negative: It is located a bit outside of the city.
