Positive: Beautiful house with a beautiful view, the house feels homely and decorated to a lovely standard, the kitchen literally has everything we needed plus more. The owners of the property were kind enough to send me a message to ask if everything was OK (which it was) and gave us plenty of information in our welcoming pack. We would stay here again in the near future, the property worked perfectly for us as a big family.

Positive: I loved the location of the property, overlooking the beach which was lovely to wake up to. I loved how homely it felt whilst I was there with my family. Like a home away from home. Jane was great to deal with and the paperwork provided is very thorough. Me and my family had such a nice time!
Negative: There’s nothing I didn’t like really. The steps / hill leading up to the house were tiring but ok! Though probably not the best for someone with mobility issues which luckily none of us had! :-)

Positive: We loved the house and the location. We were looking for fabulous views and some peace and quiet. Tegfryn delivered nicely. Pre-arrival, I received a friendly email, containing very useful information about the local area. The house had been cleaned to a good standard and pre-warmed. There was a fresh litre of milk in the fridge so we could help ourselves to tea or coffee - I took my own tea and coffee, but I think there was some provided (there is a French press and a Nespresso machine. There was a pack of mince pies left out for us too (Thanks Jane). We felt the house was very comfortably furnished and felt like a very spacious, yet cosy home. Our beds were comfy and the sofas downstairs were good too, but we spent our family time in the kitchen/diner, around the table. The kitchen was quite well equipped and everything we tried using worked perfectly. The killer feature is the views. The immediate local area was extremely quiet, perhaps to its detriment, but we loved it! Other visitors we met complained about the lack of community, culture and vibrancy in the area. I think there is an uptick on the weekends and school holidays, but we left on Friday morning. The point is, almost all of the properties are owned as holiday lets/holiday homes, so there aren't really any local villagers around. A very short drive away, one can find great supermarkets and the small town of Porthmadog. When walking around the bay to the right and picking up the coastal path, there is a string of beautiful coves and beaches. We hopped between a few while the tide was out and it was a spectacular walk.
Negative: The access/approach to the entrance includes a dozen or so, unevenly sized steps. In the dark and wet, this may provide challenges for some travellers. We did not struggle. The pillows were a little on the firm and chunky side - nit picking here, because there wasn't a lot to complain about!
Summary: We loved the house with its marvellous views and the area is beautiful.
