Positive: Beautiful location and the traditional, old Japanese house. Very good breakfast and dinner. I liked very much morning and evening walks, when the village was quiet with only few people around. Thank you very much for great stay!

Positive: Very friendly reception. We were happy to be able to pick a time slot (half an hour) upon arrival to enjoy the onsen privately, still separated by gender of course. The dinner was abundant and a very nice experience in a traditional dining area but with small chairs instead of sitting on the ground. The location is superb, we had a nice view of the old road passing in front of the ryokan.

Negative: The dinner had water and green tea included and there was an option to order other drinks like beer and sake, which is great, but we didn't really get a chance to order anything because no one was there until we finished eating.

Positive: Staff was really nice. The food was delicious. Very well located in Magome. Loved the experience in this traditional ryokan.

Negative: Somewhat expensive, given that it is a 2-star accomodation with shared bathroom. I think they practice this price because there’s little accomodation offer in Magome.
