Positive: Spare when it came to breakfast , the rooms smelt of smoking for years and the blankets and cider did as well I loved the property for location and surrounding safety of the location , I believe under the new leader ship team there could e tremendous changes to the property with many more years of 4 plus star ratings if there willing to do what the property truly needs done to bring it to the 21st century Capital investment in a location in Barstow is a big gamble although the property is solid with many upgrades it could become much more with proper marketing and renovations that are needed .. Positive: To me, the bed was comfortable and good room size. My room had a couple of unfinished repairs but overall not bad.

Negative: Motel looked a bit shabby on the outside and appeared to be in the process of being repainted. Garden needed redoing as well. The included breakfast really needed upgrading. No bread, no bagels. Cereal was only oats

Summary: Room was clean, but stay could have been better.
