Positive: by far the best part was our host Sonder. She was So knowledge, generous and eager to share. Her breakfast was epic and that alone made the stay worth it.

Positive: Our stay here was an absolute highlight of our trip! The room was cozy and comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. Sondra was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and offering great local tips (including how to get a deal on pizza!) Breakfast was phenomenal—honestly on par with a high-end brunch at a nice restaurant, and such a great deal. We loved sitting down with other travelers, swapping stories about our trips and getting inspired for our next stops. The bathrooms were VERY well stocked with top-quality toiletries—even things I didn’t realize I might need. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the stay feel extra special. And we have to mention the backyard chickens! Watching them from our window was such a joy, and knowing the eggs on our breakfast plates came from those very chickens made everything feel so fresh and personal. From the fresh eggs to all the little thoughtful details, SunStar captured the spirit of what makes staying at a bed and breakfast so special. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone and can’t wait to come back!

Positive: I liked everything about the property. Too many things to list…. But I can give it a shot.. Pleasant linens, nice bidet, great shower, beautiful decor, great lighting, angelic host- helped me when uber didn’t have any drivers available, great location, safe neighborhood, fresh backyard chicken eggs, diet accommodation.

Negative: Mmmm a smell that you can go nose blind to almost immediately. Very.. “old house”, pets and people have maybe passed or peed. Might have been an ammonia based cleaner.. that’s what I tell myself.. It goes away in 5 minutes. Er everything was so nice I didn’t feel comfortable saying anything about it.. but nature’s miracle enzymatic cleaner might be able to do something about it. And it might not, depending on what it was.. might just be a fancy glue or varnish that I’m not used to smelling.

Positive: Sondra is an exceptional host. I felt very welcome from the moment I pulled into the drive. She has an open smile and approach. She offered to help me with my luggage, and the check-in process was informal with easy conversation.
