Summary: What started out to be the vacation from hell, quickly changed to a memorable vacation. My wife and I wanted a different place to go this year so we picked St. Lucia. trouble started as soon as we got there, our bags didn't make the flight and were still in NY. Greg the owner recommended we go with Thomas who picked us up at the airport for an over an hour ride to the unit. $90.us and well worth it. Greg the owner gave us a orientation of the island and points of interest, it was mandatory and well worth it to get the lay of the land. Next day we went to pickup our rental car that I reserved 2 months ago and was told my reservation was canceled because I never responded to an email (which I never got) After trying 3 places with no one having a rental, Greg called Gianne who was his marketing manager and she also worked for a car rental company. She came within an hour with a car for the same price as the other company and all was good. Driving on the island is tricky to say the least and the roads not that great I hit a pot hole and had a flat tire. Called everyone Thomas (cab driver, Gregg (the owner) and Gianne the car rental girl. All called back withing 2 minutes! I found the spare and changed the tire but all were standing by to help if need be.. This was the way our whole vacation went. If you want to stay at a place where they care and not just collect money this is the place! Greg Thank you! we had a great time!

Summary: SunWest Villas was a great place to stay for our 10-day holiday away. It was roomy, quiet, had great views and a pool to relax by, just as advertised. Greg was an amazing host, arranging our transfers and orienting us to the area on our first full day there... where to find the local beach, bank, market, cell provider, restaurants. It was so easy and his place is well located to walk all around Rodney Bay and even to Gros Islet. Even though we regularly walked it, the only caution is that to get back to the villa it is uphill from the main road if walking. With a vehicle it's no problem. Thank you Greg for a wonderful holiday. We truly enjoyed touring St Lucia and staying at SunWest. All the best.

Summary: My husband and I just returned from our 5 day stay in Rodney Bay, at Greg’s villa. What an awesome place with an awesome vibe and view! Greg, our most gracious host arranged to pick us up at Hewanora Airport. What an adventure it was. Greg is very knowledgeable about the island. Great conversationalist! Great stories of the island. With a tour up the island, quick stop at the grocery store and on to the villa. We can’t say enough about what a great time we had, and what a great host Greg is. He was very helpful with suggestions for our itinerary. We feel like we really got to see very much of the beauty of the island, as Greg was on the ready with a smile on his face to escort us around. We will absolutely be returning to Saint Lucia. Knowing Greg and his villa are there for us makes plans to return to the island so much easier! We had everything needed at the villa, and we very comfortable.

Summary: No need to look anywhere else!! We had the best time and Greg, the owner made it happen!! He will bring you to the best places on the island! Whether it's a place to eat, take in a scenic overlook or simply relax in a place you only see in vacation magazines Greg knows where to go! If you're looking to participate in any of the fun filled activities St. Lucia has to offer, Greg knows just where to go! This is your home away from home! It's so much better than a resort because you have the privacy but yet your in the middle of it all. When you wake up you see the beauty of St Lucia through the wall of windows that are from floor to ceiling right from your bed. Beyond Beautiful! Greg is absolutely a great guy and has a passion for showing you all the beautiful places and the history of it all! He will guide you around wherever you want to go and will pick you back up when you are ready. He gives you a cell phone so you can stay in contact with him if you need any help. He made our vacation a memorable one that we will never forget! We will be back with our friends and family! He has a few other places that are all together a 1,2,3 and 4 bedroom that can accommodate any size family. You honestly can't beat the price for all the wonderful things it has to offer. Greg will make sure you are in great hands!! His place is so much better than a resort by far!! If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to call or email him. He will be more than happy to speak with you! All the previous reviews about how wonderful Greg is are so true! Best Vacation Ever and we will rent from him again for sure!!

Summary: From the moment Greg the owner picked me up at the airport I knew that my vacation was paved with joy. I was traveling alone and had never been to St Lucia. The island is so beautiful and Greg made sure I was well taken care of every step of the way. The villa was perfect and the bed was really comfortable. Greg has a passion for the island and the people and is there if you need anything from pick-ups to advice on how to make your vacation a most rewarding one. The supermarket is really close by and he would make sure I had everything I needed to keep the fridge well stocked. My favorite place was Pigeon Island, the beach is spectacular and the view from the point is divine. Greg took me to almost every inch of the island to explore and you won't be disappointed. No need to book anywhere else!

He took us out for a tour of the area and pointed us in the right direction for whatever it was we wanted to do. The house was very well equipped and very clean. Thanks Greg for a wonderful time. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Summary: I couldn't of asked for a better dream holiday in St Lucia as I wanted to visit The Island to experience the Jazz and Arts Festival. I booked an apartment at Sunwest Villas recommended by a friend and was not disappointed by my final choice. On Arrival I was welcomed at the airport by Greg holding my name board amongst the crowd. After our brief introduction I knew straight away that I was in good company. On route to my apartment Greg was a natural conversationalist and historian telling me some interesting facts and history about the island. I was impressed by my apartment it had a great view over looking the green lush tropical landscape of St Lucia and you could see the Caribbean sea in the distance. The layout of the room was very spacious and clean with all the amenities & equipment eg:.cable tv, Wireless internet,cooker, cooking utensils,,washing machine, iron and ironing board, fridge, Air conditioning and ceiling fans all the things needed to make my stay more pleasant and not forgetting a double comfy bed.There was also a outdoor swimming pool, perfect for a plunge in the morning and I noticed it was maintained on a regular basis. Greg also provided me with a top up cellular phone with the local network which was a bonus for me for ringing family and friends around the island at a cheaper local rate. The service Greg provided was top class 10/10 always checking I was comfortable and if I ever wanted to go anywhere on the island Greg would always be at hand and would always offer to take me around. I will definetly return to Sunwest Villas as I find the location ideal for easy walking access to the main beach, shops and local restaurants. I've already recommended this accommodation to some of my family and friends if ever they were to visit St Lucia. Greg= Great Host , Great Location, Great Stay, Great Guy. Summary: Fantastic Experience! Sun West Villas offers a great vacation package for all types! Deciding on a place to vacation and then to lodge can be tough business. This was especially the case for us as we were also in the midst of wedding planning and in the very early stages of baby arrival planning. We decided on Sun West Villas in St Lucia and did not think about our vacation until the day after our wedding/night before our trip. Strategically located in one of the best spots in the island SWV offers a great place to take in a sunset by the pool and it acts as a great home base to start your adventures or beach outings (the beach is a quick 10 minute walk (downhill) or a quick 3.5 minute drive (Greg will take you down there and pick you up!)) The first thing Greg offers to do is give you a very quick tour of the island so that you may adjust your vacations plans….or plan your vacation. Your experience at SWV will be akin to going someplace where you have a local friend – completely the opposite of the all-inclusive experience. With Greg as your host/tour guide extraordinaire you will take in the islands main attractions as well as “off the beaten path” gems such as roadside bakeries, coconut, fish and fruit stands, banana plantations and much more! Speaking of Greg’s rock star tour guide abilities, at SWV you will experience unmatched customer service and attentiveness but more importantly you will make a great friend. We highly recommend the cocoa plantation visit - with the arts and crafts shop being another must. Zip Lining was also fantastic, very safe and professionally run as well as suited for a 6.5-month pregnant gal (by the way, Leah keeps calling zip lining “razor wiring” which admittedly sounds like something which might be slightly fun but mostly painful). The Banana plantation tour Greg took us on was another highlight, (he will knock down fresh fruit from the trees if you promise to run quickly afterwards). Another outstanding outing was a Piton’s hike, which involved just the right level of effort given our condition (Horacio happens to be a bit of a wimp) and phenomenally rewarding views.
