Positive: The breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious clean and comfortable. It also had this really nice wood smell. They had Netflix and YouTube accounts and it was v comfy to watch while lying on the bed. The whole area was very nice, very quiet. The on-site cafe and restaurant was excellent as well. Honestly I would’ve happily stayed another night and would def stay again if I visit Sun Moon Lake.

Negative: Nothing! I will say that it is about 10 min drive from the lake itself - but that wasn’t a problem as we rented a car. But I reckon getting to the lake by bicycle or taxi wouldn’t be too difficult either.

Positive: Friendly and accomodating host with good communication. Additional paid set menu dinner and complimentary breakfast was fresh and plenty of variety. The natural wooden smell of the room was a pleasant bonus

Positive: This place was a little gem for our family. We loved the remote location, making us feel alone & special and nearly part of the family. One sister is in charge of the hotel, with her husband leading the design of this manucures and authentic place. Another sister is in charge of the lovely Taiwanese restaurant & the breakfast and the last one of the coffee place.

Negative: I would mention 2 things - These 5 Japanese rooms surrounded by greenery are a blessing after cycling around the highly touristy sun moon lake where the norm are high sky rise hotels - the caring attention of the staff/family to ensure we feel at home.

Summary: A little gem which wants to make you stay longer to enjoy another coffee watching the sunset and forget about the hundre
