Summary: A delight to pull up to, inviting front porch, entire house looks freshly painted and well maintained. The inside was well appointed and comfortable. We found everything we needed and more. Very obvious the owners take great pride in providing an exceptional stay for their guests. The community of Irvington has delicious food offerings, friendly folks and good shopping options. Same was found in nearby small townsWould definitely recommend Key Cottage if you travel to Virginia’s Northern Neck

Summary: We had a very pleasant stay at the Key Cottage. Everything we could have wanted was available, the house was immaculate, and the location and neighborhood were perfect. Communication was excellent with the host and we are truly looking forward to a return visit.

Summary: We enjoyed several peaceful days at Key Cottage. The front porch rockers provided the perfect venue for a morning cup of coffee and a sunset glass of wine. King Carter Drive is a lovely quiet street filled with quaint homes and well tended landscapes. The cottage provided the perfect home base for our exploration of Irvington and the surrounding small towns of The Northern Neck. Kinnet was an amazing host. She quickly responded to any questions or concerns. The Key Cottage guestbook provided helpful information about the home as well as detailed recommendations for local stores, restaurants and activities. We are looking forward to our next visit to The Northern Neck and The Key Cottage.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay at Key Cottage. It is a quirky cute house in a sweet neighborhood. We spent most of our time outdoors on the porch watching the world go by. The grounds are kept so pretty, and the butterflies and bunnies were all around. We enjoyed the town and Kilmarnock. Do yourself a favor and have a lobster roll from the little food truck in Kilmarnock. The extra pounds are worth it.

Summary: For a comfortable, convenient stay in Irvington, the Key Cottage has everything you could want! We enjoyed sitting in the front porch rockers as well as around the table on the back screened porch. Our dog appreciated his fenced in run where he could chase toys while off leash and loved watching the squirrels and birds sheltering in the fig trees right off the porch. The house feels much larger than it looks in the pictures. High ceilings and wide rooms made the cottage feel very spacious. Thank you Kinnet and Chris!

Summary: Darling little cottage. It is just a bit short of perfect. The 100+ year old house is looking sad and in need of upkeep and repairs. It's starting to look neglected With that said, we had a great time enjoying the area and quiet neighborhood. Overall we had a great experience.
