Summary: I enjoyed my overall stay at The Tides Inn, but I wanted to share a few thoughts about the dining experience. Staying several nights made the limited dinner menu and lack of daily specials more noticeable. The dishes felt overly elaborate, and the prices seemed high for the experience. A more traditional and varied menu could better meet guests’ expectations and make the premium pricing feel more worthwhile. That said, don’t miss the hidden gem, the Fish Hawk Bar/Grill and be sure to ask for Joey. It’s a shame it closes so early, as it would be the perfect spot to enjoy an evening cocktail or two.

Summary: Really enjoyed my stay in a beautiful room looking out over the harbor. The bed was comfortable and the other furniture clean and attractive. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Both breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant were excellent, and the view from the dining room and outdoor terrace lovely. Enjoyed walking a loop around the property, including the boardwalk along the shoreline.. Would have been very happy to stay longer!

Summary: for the price, room was average, service was average. Charged for resort fee (twice) only stayed one night, late fall everything is really not active in the resort so why the fee, restaurant charged $30 for a glass of Chardonnay when there were other options that were never offered by the bartender.
