2 Bedroom House in Ockley

A contemporary conversion of a former blacksmiths forge, this newly renovated stunning home in the Surrey hills has all mod cons including a 65 inch sky glass tv in the spacious lounge to watch while you get cosy on the large corner sofa. A luxury open plan fully equipped kitchen dining space means plenty of room for long suppers and lazy lunches/brunches at the big oak table with luxury velvet seating. The downstairs is completed by a WC and a utility area.
Upstairs has 2 bedrooms , one on each side from the landing, and both bedrooms have beautiful en-suite shower rooms, with white fluffy towels provided. Each bedroom has a king-size bed and crisp white bedlinen. Bedroom 2 can be a king double or twin singles making the accommodation very flexible.
Ockley is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and is a great base for exploring Surrey and Sussex with miles of lovely walks, and plenty of activities out and about including stunning vineyards to visit, plenty of National Trust sites within driving distance and only a 45 minute drive to the south coast.
The house is central in Ockley village which has two pubs and amazing country walks right on your doorstep . There is a contained garden area and a small patio all to the front and gable end of the house.
Freshly renovated this house is perfect for weekend getaways, we are dog friendly too !
The house shares the front courtyard of our other two holiday rental houses offering the possibility of extended family/friends staying too. Our other houses offer x2 in a studio annex or x6 in the main house, see listing numbers 10865643 and 10963517 . The three properties are grouped around the front "courtyard" and so are ideal for families or friends not wanting to be close but not to share the same house.

Summary: The house was clean, stylish, comfortable and very well appointed. Everything we needed was provided, including coffee, tea and milk. It's very easy to go for short or long walks around the village, or to get to the pub right next door! The host was quick to communicate and was very helpful. The only thing to be aware of is traffic noise if you have the windows open, but traffic seemed to die down around 10.30pm.

Summary: Stayed here the night before my wedding with my 2 bridesmaids. It was perfect for a relaxing night and the sofa was massive with a great view of the giant TV! The property is like a show home its so luxurious and well decorated. Thank you for hosting us
