Positive: We stayed for two nights and loved it! Carpenters is exactly as described and we felt it was an exceptionally comfortable cosy little apartment with an enormous bedroom and shower en-suite. We brought in microwave meals for our first night, but treated ourselves to an excellent meal at The Parrot pub just down the road on our second night. Hosts are super friendly and helpful - even standing in the pouring rain to check we had everything we needed for our stay, including any additional bits for our dog! We would recommend 100%

Positive: it was a great location in the surrey hills and the hosts were very accommodating and gracious. they were very helpful with us and our ebikes and advised us on places to eat and drink. very clean and tidy rooms and although there is no kitchen area yet, they provide you with all the facilities in your room to make drinks in the morning as well as a microwave.

Negative: we got lost walking to the pub across some fields in the dark even though they lent us a torch and gave good instructions. the walk to the pub along the road is not very safe, but no harm done

Summary: great one night stay in surrey hills for mountain biking, cant wait to go back
