Positive: The house was very well equipped for us, we were a group of family and friends and had all our needs catered for. Having the air fryer was great as the kids could just make something quickly, nice big fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The beds were so comfortable! I think probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, away from home. The sofas were nice and big and comfortable too. The field was brilliant for a game of cricket and for the kids to run about. The area was secure with the electric gate, meaning everyone was safe. Overall a brilliant stay. Malpas is 9 minutes drive away, great location.

Negative: There's nothing we didn't like.

Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a meet up with our Son and our dog enjoyed exploring the wildflower meadow at the back of the owners property. The basket of thoughtful treats, plus essentials like milk, butter, tea, coffee and bread were very much appreciated and the property is very well equipped. We enjoyed lots of lovely meals at nearby Carden Arms, The Lion in Malpas, The Pant-yr-Ochain in Wrexham all of which are dog friendly and coffee at Lost Barn Coffee just down the road, which also has a gorgeous little farm shop. All in all we had a fabulous weekend and would love to return when we are up that way again.

Negative: For some reason we didn’t get sent check in details but managed to contact the agent / owners and they sorted it immediately, just before we set off. We did also have an issue with the toilet not flushing, but they got an emergency plumber out immediately to get it fixed and they were very apologetic. We understand these things happen and by getting the issue resolved so quickly and easily, meant it didn’t spoil our stay.

Summary: Beautiful property, fabulously decorated in a stunning location.

Positive: The location, pricacy, security and size of this was perfect. Arrival and access was very straightforward. Surrounded by beautiful gardens. The lounge and dining kitchen.We're very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and stopped with a good range of utensils. The range cooker was very easy to operate, and we were able to cook ourselves. Supermarkets were around 10 to 15 minutes away. So anything that will be required could easily be bought.

Negative: The only thing that I would criticize is the extractor fun was very weak in the kitchen and the smell of cooking spread very quickly.

Summary: The perfect getaway.

Positive: We enjoyed our weekend stay at Branden Guest House, in this beautiful village near Wrexham. The property was well maintained and well appointed, comfortable space for a family and a dog. We struggled with a few of the instructions on entry and how to get to the field to walk the dog but the 24 hour service was very quick and helpful to use!
