Positive: Great location, central position in heart of the village close to pubs. Easy to find and check-in details were clear.

Negative: I feel that any feedback should be fair and honest, so it is disappointing to write a less than positive one. Parking was not readily available on surrounding streets and took 20 min off driving around to get anywhere close enough to unload. The photos in the advert are very misleading, and the angle they were taken from give the impression that the property has a separate bedroom, but it's, in fact, a studio room with couch and bed. The photos also suggested that there were some basic provisions provided, such as cereal and coffee pods, but this was not the case. There was an opened carton of long life milk in the fridge alongside a half full jar of peanut butter. They were tea bags, but the coffee storage jar was half full with old dried and congealed coffee. There was salt but no pepper. The sink, plug, washing up basin, bin, and some mugs were dirty. The cleaning pads were old and beyond salvage. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the mattress dipped very badly into the centre, so sleep was very broken. There were damp patches on the ceiling in 2 places with mould growing. There was chewing gum on the iron, which i did not notice until ironing my white jeans, which got stained, which i could not remove, so I could not wear them. The light switches are unusually located at the far side of the room, farthest from the door. The WiFi signal/strength was terrible, so we had to use our normal data just to look at social media. This is definitely not a 'luxurious' accommodation as advertised, but it is a basic, functional space that would benefit from more attention to detail, better cleaning, and honest description.

Positive: Location couldn't have been better. Parking free and unlimited on the street at weekends. Extremely clean. Kitchen basic but quite sufficient for an short stay. Appreciated the cereals, milk, coffees etc. Well decorated, with good taste. And in excellent condition. Double bed very comfortable. Host very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Much appreciated.

Negative: The property is advertised on Booking.com as having a living room and a separate bedroom. This is not the case. My daughter ended up staying at our friend's house in Wrotham as she had a separate room there. So this proved to be disappointing and not our plan. The photos don't show the sofa bed at the foot of the double bed. I feel this could be addressed in the description.

Summary: Overall pleased but would have given higher marks if there had been a separate bedroom as described.

Positive: Well appointed. Good location as we were attending a wedding at The Bull Hotel.

Negative: The mattress on the bed was extremely uncomfortable and too soft. I ended up sleeping on the sofa. They need a new mattress. Otherwise, it was a very good appartment.
