Villa Sellares is a beautiful traditional Spanish white washed Corjio set on the exclusive Indalo Mountain range, with panoramic uninterrupted sea views over the Mediterranean in Mojacar Playa near Almeria, Andalusia in Southern Spain. Very private garden with private swimming pool. On a no through road, so no passing traffic.
Known as the jewel in the crown of the Costas along with its non-high rise sky line. Voted by the Daily Telegraph as one of the top 20 places in the world for the good life. Although the Villa is on an enviable elevated position, it is only a 10 minute walking distance to the paeso (promenade) and it is considered locally as the best beach on Mojacar Playa, known as Las Ventanicas a golden sand beach. A good number of well-known bars and restaurants are also in this area.
The Villa has been completely refurbished to the highest of standards including new drainage, electrics and plumbing. It now sports brand new bathrooms, kitchen, windows and doors. All outside terracing has just been completed along with a gazebo fitted without door speakers and remote control ceiling fan. Pool.
All accommodation at Villa Sellares is on one level.
The master bedroom with king size bed, has fitted wardrobes, dressing table, AC, ceiling fan, double doors to terrace and swimming pool with gorgeous sea views to wake up to in the morning. The covered terrace area to the master bedroom has a remote control ceiling fan and comfortable seating. The en-suite has a walk in double shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
One guest bedroom has a kingsize double bed with fitted wardrobes, dressing table, and ceiling fan, AC and double doors that lead out to the swimming pool. This bedroom is directly next to the family bathroom which consists of shower in bath, toilet and wash hand basin.
The third guest bedroom has two single beds with fitted wardrobes, AC and ceiling fan. This bedroom has a en-suite shower room, with toilet and wash hand basin.
The modern fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops will provide you with all of the space and facilities to cater for your stay and has direct access to the terrace with sea views.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an American style fridge freezer, microwave and a range master style cooker with gas hob, double electric oven and grill. A dishwasher and an electric under sink heater for instant hot water exclusively for the kitchen sink. Other sundry equipment such as toaster, kettle and liquidiser.
There is also abundant supply of crockery, cutlery and glassware. The washing machine is situated just outside of the kitchen door in a custom housing above which is a retractable washing line.
Leading from the kitchen you enter in inside dining area consisting of a marble top dining table with seating for six.
The lounge area benefits from the panoramic sea views and has AC , ceiling fans, a 40 inch flat screen smart TV with Netflix and English/Spanish TV, WIFI and a Blue Ray DVD player. A Sony giga juke music system with around 2000 pre-loaded songs of an eclectic mix which can play this pre-loaded music or your own CDs or memory stick to both the lounge and or garden areas where a number of exterior speakers which are inserted into the outside walls.
The swimming pool and garden areas benefit from the outstanding sea views. There is plenty of outside space to relax and dine alfresco on the terrace. We have an outdoor shower and outdoor toilet facilities to complement our outdoor swimming pool. At night the garden can be lit with uplighters to the borders, and glass wall which gives that extra special magic to Villa.
Villa Sellares is approached by a driveway at the end of which is a covered private car port area for parking.
The Villa is situated in a no through road with only 2 other properties beyond us therefore there is no passing traffic other than residents of the properties either side of us.

Summary: We had a wonderful memorable week at Villa Sellares in Mojacar with our family at the end of August. The villa itself is very pretty, well maintained and kitted out for your every need inside and out. Spacious and comfortably furnished inside with lots of outdoor seating and amazing panoramic sea views from the terrace. The location is up a steep hill which would be about 10 mins walk to the beach promenade but due to the August heat we drove most days. Super convenient to access all the restaurants, beaches and a few local shops for our groceries. The pool area is fantastic and we loved our breakfasts on the shaded patio outside the master bedroom, near the pool.The owner was helpful throughout our stay, as was Nigel the property manager. Thanks for a fabulous stay, we would definitely like to return and we highly recommend.

Summary: Thank you so much for such an amazing stay in your beautiful villa. Sally was the perfect host, great communication and extremely accurate description of the property. The photos are great but the reality still took our breath away! Villa had everything we could wish for and more, every little detail taken care of. Yes the villa is up a steep hill but that just makes the views even more spectacular and you are still on the beach within 2 minutes by car. Nigel made us feel very welcome and looked after. The only thing we were unhappy about was having to come home! Can’t wait to return if Sally will have us back,

Summary: This is a beautiful villa with a great sea view. It was beautifully decorated with a sea view from the living room and main bedroom and had everything we needed and more! It's a great location being walking distance to the sea front with restaurants and bars and while the road back is uphill, it was easily managed by us. We also had a car for food shopping etc. We would highly recommend this villa.

Summary: The villa is beautifully decorated and organised. The minute you step in and see the view your breath is taken away and that didn’t change during the whole two week stay . Amazing location . Lovely walk down to the beach but it is a steep walk back up which can be seen as great exercise. Easy to taxi back up after an evening out . Hosts were excellent. Fully and absolutely recommend. Amazing

Summary: I wish this had been a 365 night stay. The villa is lovely, well cared for and delightfully furnished. My husband loves to cook and the kitchen lacked nothing. Bed in main room was very comfortable and was the only one we used. The star of this show though is the outside space, one of the loveliest pool and deck areas we have had the pleasure of renting. Speedy and informative checking with George who gave great suggestions. We plan to be in Spain again next year at some point and I hope this villa will be free. Thank you.

Summary: We loved this villa, the views are beautiful, it’s so close to the beach and yet so peaceful. The pool is gorgeous, it’s very clean and modern and totally relaxing. The owner Sally could not have been more helpful. Look forward to returning soon.

Summary: The villa was extremely well appointed with a fantastic view over the sea. Inside the villa the kitchen is large with an excellent double fridge/freezer and large double oven and dishwasher. In addition there is a plentiful supply of pots, pans crockery and cutlery. The lounge has TV with access to UK TV and Netflix. WiFi worked well once you had conquered the lengthy password. The bedrooms were all well furnished with plenty of storage. The bathrooms also modern and very clean. Hot water was readily available and the showers all had strong power. The outside has a large patio area and seating from which to enjoy the view. The pool is a good size with plenty of sun loungers. The water in October is not for the feint hearted but am sure most welcome in high summer. The villa is about 15 mins walk to the main road down a steep hill, the walk back is strenuous. There are plenty of bars and restaurants available on the main road. The beach is wide and sandy and certainly the best part of the Mojacar shoreline. Check in and out were both easy and efficient. Everything added up to an excellent short break. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a restful and luxurious holiday.
