3 Bedroom Place in Coreggia, Alberobello

This beautiful trullo is a lovingly restored Trullo with 6 cones located in the lovely village of Coreggia approx 2km away from Alberobello, the capital of the Trulli. This village has everything you woiuld need to have an isolated relaxing holiday - a couple of Bars, Restaurants, Post Office, Butchers, General Store and Bakery., whilst being a 20 minute walk to Alberobello. Coreggia is a popular place for the discerning traveller and is popular with all generations, including older cycling groups.
The property has it's own 10m x 5m Pool, Bar area with sink and external fridges and freezer, Shaded areas, 3 Patios to have a quiet coffee in the morning sun, BBQ, Air Conditioning (including winter heating) and has Mosquito nets on all of the windows and most Doors.
The property is set in it's own olive grove with pear, cherry and oak trees and a pomegranate bush but is only a 5 minute gentle walk into the village.
The property is excellently restored to a high standard with 2 double bedrooms (1 with en-suite), 1 twin / double bedroom (with en-suite) and an additional double balcony bedroom, with another family bathroom (for use with the double and balcony bedrooms), a kitchen and another fire side room set in a trullo - just like days gone by.
The bedrooms have separate doors to the patio areas with tea and coffee making facilities.
Additional facilities - Washing Machine, UK television, DVD, WIFI, IPOD docking stations, Hairdryers, Straighteners, a book collection, comprehensive set of DVDs for all ages plus a number of family games to while away the hours with family.
The area is a fantastic place to base yourself to visit the popular sights of Puglia. The beach is approx a 15 minute drive away to Savalletri or Capitoli and is a 30 minute drive to Polignano al Mare where you can visit the Coastal caves and blue waters.
Locorotondo, Cisternino and Ostuni are also short drives to view the treasures they offer. Going north, Matera is bewitching and never ceases to captivate visitors.
We bought this property 13 years ago and spend a lot of time here - the people are so friendly and we have made some wonderful life long friends here - if you get time please go and visit Laura Leogrande at the Trattoria da Donato in Coreggia and you will be dining like a prince, with a superb wine collection and all at a very reasonable price.
They say you should never go back to the same place - we go back a minimum 4 times a year and it feels like 'home' - we hope you experience and enjoy this lovely trullo and place as much as we do

Summary: We had a fabulous week in the villa., with a rustic farmhouse feel . As we were a family of six we made use of the 4th bedroom above the sitting room , accessed by a steep pull down stairs , where you could fully appraise the trulli stucture . All the bedroom lead off each other, but having access to outside solves the problem of waking anyone else up too early! The outside area is stunning and pool is brilliant , over 6ft in the deep end . As there was 6 of us , we didn’t hire a car ,but used Vito (recommended by Stewart and Christine) for airport transfers , trips to Alberobello and Monopoli, which worked out much cheaper than hiring a people carrier. Contact with the owners was excellent. Would definitely go back .

Amenities, to the extent that we used them, are up to date and functional. The air conditioning helps survive hot August afternoons. Alberobello offers a lot of touristy experience, but we treated this house as a starting point to visit Lecce, San Giovanni Rotondo and other places. And, nothing beats Casa Rotolo pizzeria for their friendly service! Highly recommended place!

Summary: We had a lovely time here! Stewart and Christine are amazing hosts who are so very attentive to every whim and need. The little location is quiet but a great place to decompress after visiting all the charming villages in the region. Our kids loved the pool, too!!

Summary: Beautiful Trullo. Very comfortable property for 3 couples, each room has separate access to outside. Lovely pool area with shaded areas to sit and plenty of sun loungers. Lots of extras like hairdryers provided. Communication from owners was excellent. They were extremely accommodating regarding our early arrival and later departure times. Peaceful location, situated in quite a quiet village so a car is essential. Kitchen is quite small but has everything that you need for cooking for 6 . Surroundings areas have lots of places of interest to visit We had a really fantastic time here

Summary: We spent a relaxing 10 days at La Triveta, and found the villa perfect for our holiday! The poolside area was the perfect place to enjoy the heat of the day, as there was always shade when needed. The pool was a perfect size for exercise and play alike, and was cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Staying in the trulllo house, we enjoyed the character and atmosphere of the beehive rooms. We found everything we needed for the perfect holiday! We benefited from the owner's knowledge of the area and visited most of the recommended sights. The responsiveness of the owner to questions was much appreciated too! A fabulous holiday all round and we'd love to return one day!

Summary: I had a wonderful holiday at the Trullo, with my partner & our 2 adult children. A truly unique property with a home from home feel. The outside areas are fabulous, outside soft seating, 2 eating areas one by the BBQ another around the pool area. The pool, although very cold, was very refreshing & clean. There is a bar around the pool area with a fridge and freezer. The kitchen, although small has everything you need. The sofa in the living area was incredibly comfortable and large enough for the 4 of us to lounge about. The wifi is excellent, the various music players are a great idea, there are loads of sockets which was very handy for charging all our gadgets. The mosquito nets were very effective. There is a smart TV, but we didn't turn it on instead we made use of the well stocked games cupboard. We had very hot weather, so made good use of all the shaded areas. The trullo is very cool and we didn't miss not having air conditioning. Plenty of towels & pool towels were provided. Very handy to have a washing machine, with 2 lines hung between trees to hang out your washing. The Trullo is an ideal base for exploring the many pretty villages and the coast near by. We had a wonderful time and I would like to thank Christine & Stewart for lettings us rent their home.
