Summary: When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned very well from the last occupants. We also had one of the toilets clog when we flushed it after going #1. Unfortunately, it backed up sewage in the bathtub of the same bathroom. I know this sounds terrible and I could make a big negative review, but Mary, our contact manager did an amazing job of getting a plumber over there and one of their house cleaners to assist us and take care of the problems. This house has so many bathrooms that the one was not an issue for us. Also, the cause of the clog was feminine products from the previous occupants. So really, who's fault is it? Please DO NOT dispose of feminine products in the toilet! Mary did compensate us for our trouble with refunds towards our rental cost. Beds were comfortable, we brought our own pillows, but I did not get any complaints about the sleeping arrangements. There is a nice view of the ocean and we even saw some whales. Once we figured out the alarm system we had no further issues at the house. The house is located on the south end of Newport but it is still close to anything you would need. Our trip was purely to relax and enjoy ourselves. We traveled to Lincoln City, Waldport and crabbed and scuba dived.The neighbor hood is a mix of residents and businesses. It sits right next to a hotel. At first we were somewhat concerned about the noise we might get, but it was quiet and enjoyable for us. We'd recommend this home to rent.

Summary: Thank you to Mary for being helpful when I asked questions and for texting when the place was ready to check in. There were ample rooms especially upstairs with all the rooms with its own bathrooms. 5th room downstairs didn't have a bed though and 2 of the 3 air mattresses have holes in it. But we like that there were plenty of rooms and bathrooms for us. Great location to the beach!!

Summary: Had a really great New Year's eve stay! Enough room for all of our friends! Quick walk to the beach and into town- great location! Originally tough to get in-touch with the owner but once contact was made, super friendly and quick responses. It is a weathered house needs a bit of maintenance and cleaning but comfortable enough for a weekend stay.
