Summary: Beautiful property that we made so many memories with campfires at night, kids playing in sand, finding pretty rocks and frogs. They even spotted a bald eagle! Totally recommend this property for your family vacation. Location was great allowing us to visit Petoskey and Mackinac Island. Love love loved our week at this special place!

Summary: Growing up by spending summers on both Lake Charlevoix and Burt Lake, but now living for the past 20 years in Atlanta, and having evolved into a family with 5 grandchildren, our family's goal was to "go back to the lake" and the area that defined so much of our memories. This property was absolutely ideal for that goal! The cabins were spotless, fully stocked, beautifully appointed, and the grounds that included both a lush lawn and a sandy beach exceeded our expectations. A volleyball net, 5 kayaks, beach toys, fire pit and a hammock were all bonuses! Communications with Bill and Sherry were both professional and personal, and you can tell that they put their hearts into making their guests as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this beautiful log home. This our first full family vacation with adult siblings, all the kids and grandma and grandpa! We made so many memories and absolutely loved the home. It was so clean and well equipped. Bill and Sherry were so easy to communicate with and the whole process was a breezy! Summary: Another great time on Burt Lake but even better in this special log home and cabin again! This is our go to property when we want to enjoy this part of Michigan. Guys hit the links, while the ladies hit Harbor Springs and Petoskey. Other than a wonderful dinner at Michael’s Steakhouse in Indian River, we enjoyed hanging out and eating dinner at the lake. Kitchen is well stocked! Plenty of seating outdoors to enjoy this beautiful waterfront property, a very peaceful setting! Highly recommend!

Summary: Loved the cabin! It was a perfect place for 3 adult siblings, their families and grandparents. There was plenty of room for all, cabin was not only super clean, but also was beautifully furnished as well. Beach was great and our toddlers LOVED the “playroom” under the stairs.

Summary: This is our 3rd summer visit to Bill & Sherry’s home & it has been perfect each time! Love all the extras they share with guests including everything from water toys to fire pit supplies, extra condiments, and basic household stock. Morning coffee on porch watching hummingbirds & overlooking Burt is a favorite. It is the best place for a family to make Burt Lake memories!

Summary: Our stay was wonderful. It’s very apparent the owners take great care of their home. It was very well maintained and clean. Owners were very easy to get in touch with and had quick responses the couple times we needed to contact them. The beach was perfect size for the kids to enjoy and they had a lot of fun swimming. The covered porch was so nice and we found ourselves hanging out there often. I highly recommend this home. We would love to come back, we didn’t want to leave!
