Summary: Old, historic home filled with old stuff. Problem is that the bathroom for our room was literally in the bedroom. The toilet was next to the bed with only a curtain between. Just gross.

Summary: We stayed in the Truffles Room (Victorian theme). The room is lovely and very clean. Bath and Body Works products in the shower, freshly made cookies and cold carafes of filtered water to take to your room. Lots of places on the property to sit and read or talk. We sat on the front porch after dinner and enjoyed the evening. There’s a sitting room upstairs with coffee, candy, and tea. Also a separate building out back with games and seating if you want a hideaway to just hang out and an outdoor area as well. The breakfast was really good. Lots of attention to detail from the friendly hosts. The hostess, Ann, accommodated a guest’s food allergies at breakfast and the host, Mark, was very helpful too.
