Summary: Beautiful secluded property! The house is very spacious and the pool is amazing. I fortunately we were not able to use it, because it was still quite cold. The property is quite high up in the mountains so it is always a bit colder there. The kitchen is well equipped, the pizza oven is lots of fun. I would recommend that the landlords leave some basics such as salt or olive oil in their kitchen. The landlords are very nice and accommodating. They went out of their way to change the heating because it was a bit too cold for us in the morning. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that you have to pay extra for linen and towels and there is also a cleaning fee. That was not clear at first during the booking process.

Summary: Our host "Peppe" was brilliant...meeting us in a nearby town and personally taking us to the villa high up in the mountains above Graniti. The property has been beautifully restored and has everything you could possibly need. The outdoor kitchen and dining area with built in BBQ is fabulous and the views down the valley to the sea are breathtaking. Peppe was a brilliant host keeping in contact during our stay and offering lots of suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to dine in. Restaurant Flora is definitely worth visiting. As it was out of season we did not make use of the pool but in summer we can imagine not having to even leave the villa. There is also a small self contained cottage on the property. Access to Taormina, Giardini Naxos and Etna are all within close driving distance. An amazing villa with a superb host which we would highly recommend. Thank you Peppe...
