Positive: Stunning villa in a peaceful location surrounded by olive groves. Well equipped villa furnished to a very high standard. Perfect hosts greeted us on arrival with complimentary fruit and Prosecco, nothing too much trouble and little details made all the difference. The pool area was spotlessly clean with comfortable sunbeds. Ideal base for exploring Etna and the surrounding area.

Negative: There was nothing not to like.

Positive: We spent a week in the villa, and we are very pleased. The villa is exceptionally clean and fully equipped, the kitchen also allows you to prepare meals normally - like at home. It is very nice that guests are provided with coffee, sugar, and a whole range of other small extras that you don't have to think about on holiday. The hosts are very nice and helpful - there is very good contact with them. The bedrooms are spacious, as are the bathrooms. The pool is large and allows you to really relax during the heat. The views are wonderful. In addition, it is quiet and relatively close to the attractions in this part of the island. The villa has been renovated and everything is well-kept.

Positive: The villa was fantastic and the owners very attentive. Vanessa met us to show us around and it was lovely to find fruit, drinks and prosecco waiting when we arrived. While we were there Vanessa and her father looked after us extremely well - checking in to see that everything was OK and making sure that we had everything we needed as well as being really flexible about arrival, departure and cleaning times to fit in with us. The villa is lovely and of a really high standard - well equipped and very stylish as well as being in a beautiful rural setting. A car is definitely needed but the location is great for visiting Taormina and the coastal resort of Giardini Naxos which is a short drive away.

Summary: This was a wonderful first holiday for us in Sicily and we plan to go back.

Positive: The villa has everything you need. It is beautifully situated in an olive and lemon orchard, with easy access to the beaches of Naxos and the Alcantara Gorge. Vanessa and all her family were lovely and always helpful. Strong 11/10!

Positive: The Willa Alcantara is lovely, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, clean, perfect, just the way we like it. Great owners, always ready to help you in a comfortable rest. Beautiful garden, swimming pool, and terrace. There is absolute silence all around. You only hear cicadas and birds. Behind the fence there are only many citrus and olive orchards and beautiful mountains and mount Etna. We were greeted very kindly - smile, cordiality, fruit and cold prosecco, The next day the owner brought us Graniti for breakfast and fresh Sicilian rolls - it was very nice. We want to come back here again !
