Summary: Wow, staying here made me rethink every 5 Star rating I’ve even given to anything. To start, this property has EVERYTHING and more that we could conceive of needing. Tiny Phillips head screwdriver to open a battery cover on a temperature probe? They have it! Vacuum sealer with bags for our sous vide cooking? Of course! But that’s not the half of it. We brought our Jeep Wrangler, and asked permission to drive around the property (this is an active logging operation, so you should ask permission and be respectful of property lines). The hostess came out in her truck, drove around dropping Google Map pins in her favorite spots and gave a variety of recommendations on why to look for. Who does that? A 10 Star host does, that’s who. Steam room, sauna, big open spaces inside, fast internet, huge deck spaces with outdoor fireplace, dining areas and more. They even had a fresh bowl of water for our dogs! I cannot tell you how blown away we were with the hostess, much less the property itself. To be fair, the closest grocery store is the Publix in Freeport, about 25 minutes away. Okay, that’s the biggest downside I could find, but to compensate, the drive through the countryside was beautiful. I’ll take that any day. Dogs had the time of their lives, running around, checking out the deer, turkey and other assorted wildlife. We are booking again very soon.

Summary: Our family had the most amazing and relaxing stay at Story’s Landing. I voted to never leave but my family wouldn’t let me stay. You won’t want to leave either! The beautiful views from every window in every room brought the outdoors inside and the outdoor living spaces were so inviting. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. Would love to stay here again!

Summary: I have stayed in several Vrbo rentals mostly in the mountains two in central Florida. I enjoy staying in quit places away from the crowds. This rental is awesome.. it is well planed for small group gatherings. The layout allows for easy access to the outside. The quality of interior is high end. The host is very accommodating.

Summary: Everything about Story’s Landing is wonderful! My family and I were blessed to be able to book this property for a last minute stay for an unexpected family funeral. We arrived well after dark and were greeted with lights on and welcoming, spacious parking and covered areas to unload our things, soft music playing throughout the house, and the feeling of being in a luxurious home away from home. Story’s Landing is exactly as the pictures show on their site. It is spacious, luxurious, inviting, calming, and peaceful. Every detail had been thought of for our stay. Our pup even had her own space to stay with food and treats just for her. The owner is very thorough with instructions and helpful details during your stay. She went out of her way to help us with things we might need for food and flowers for the funeral as well when she didn’t have to. All the family who visited were highly impressed by the property and how everything had been o thought out to make your stay easy and relaxing. We will most definitely book again when we are in the area!!! This is an absolutely wonderful house and owner. I would give more stars if I could!!

Summary: We absolutely loved our little weekend away here. It was perfect! The outside space was amazing for playing yard games and we loved all the hiking trails. The house was so comfortable and clean. We loved cooking in the gorgeous kitchen. It had everything we needed. We can not wait to come back!!
