Positive: Beautiful villa in a beautiful setting, stunning view. in remote area, but close enough to local Port with great restaurants and local beaches Very comfortable bedrooms, aircon rooms, lovely bathrooms. Kitchen facilities great. Pool was amazing, lots of sunbeds, pool towels and play equipment supplied. Eva and the lovely cleaners were really friendly and Eva sorted out a couple of problems we had promptly. Great communication by Alice the owner and she kindly let us have a late check out. You need a car for this property, roads are narrow and a few pot holes, but you do NOT a 4 x 4 as someone suggested. I would thoroughly recommend this property. Wished we stayed longer.

Positive: Wonderful place, amazing views. Very beautiful and authentic Greek. Eva is amazing,she looked after everything. Such a pleasant person. The cleaners and pool staff kept everything very clean. Lovely restaurants near by, we were able to eat at a different one each night. All offering something different.

Negative: The only thing I would say is that the steps and slope I were difficult from the car parking area as I had a poorly foot.

Positive: Villa and pool were perfect and air conditioning was a god send as it was so hot. Great size for a large family group.

Negative: Didn’t appreciate how remote the Villa was. Def needed a car to get places, ok for us but a bit frustrating for some of our party as taxis are difficult to find.

Positive: We liked the comforting family feel of the villa with amazing views, plenty of space for the family members to find quiet corners :) Sarah was easily reachable during our stay. We didn’t rent a car, but the manager Christos and his daughter were extremely helpful, also recommend their boat trip. The windmill restaurant is just a few minutes walk, great food, and were very helpful with advice (local transport, places to see). It is also literally next door to Askos Zoo. Lovely restaurants in Nikolaos. We also took ferry to Kefalonia from the port.

Negative: The kitchen would benefit from new utensils, and plastic glasses (outdoor use)

Summary: Wonderful view! Comfortable relaxing stay

Positive: We appreciated the lovely pool area and range of outdoor areas to sit. We were also grateful that all the rooms had working air conditioners, fans and bathrooms. Being able to contact Eva the manager also made it more comfortable.

Negative: We would have appreciated advice about how rugged the roads are in this part of Zakynthos, as we would have made sure we rented a 4WD. The stress of getting stuck on gravel roads which our car could not manage did impact out holiday. Also, there was no wifi for the first half of our trip and even after when it was ‘fixed’, the signal was still too weak to download even a short video, and no connection at all downstairs in our room. Of course it is an island so we do understand, but advice to prepare for patchy internet would also have been appreciated. And lastly, it would be nice to include more items in the house to improve the comfort of our stay eg. Soap, more toilet paper, better kitchen utensils eg no tongs or sharp knives.
