Summary: Clean room, bare essentials but comfortable. Staff was helpful in getting extra blankets and cups when needed. The stay was quiet even though the road is loud when outside. No neighbor noise. Good price for the area. Would stay here again.

Summary: We stayed in one of the two bedroom cabins and really enjoyed our time there. To be honest, in reading some of the bad reviews we went into our stay with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was. They had the amenities we needed for a short stay.

Summary: The room I arrived to (15) was awful! The bed was obviously worn out on the side away from the window and the bed squeaked whenever I moved. The road noise defied that there were windows and doors. The toilet was not bolted firmly to the floor. Not a single picture on the wall. The kitchenette had barely enough cooking and eating utensils for a basic meal. The second night I thought I’d sleep on the side of the bed closest to the window out of desperation, but when I pulled back the sheets I questioned whether the sheets had been changed. After a second sleepless night on the worn side of the bed I requested a room change. To their credit I was moved to a much more comfortable room, though without apology or credit. Room 9 did not have a kitchenette, but did have a microwave and small fridge. It had been remodeled and was much quieter (road noise) and the bed was comfortable. That being said the walls are paper thin as I discovered when I had neighbors on either side for the remainder of my stay. Those three nights people were in and out at all hours, TVs blaring and loud and sometimes apparently drunken chatter. I knew when I made the reservation that this was a budget option to avoid the crazy September rates in Estes, but I wouldn’t stay again based on the above.

Summary: No frills motel! Our first night the bed was terrible. But we asked at the desk for a different room and this bed was a bit better. The newly remodeled room much better than the older rooms.. the pool is not very clean. The water was hot in the shower. Room towels are likely washed with bleach they have that smell. . And the rooms were clean.
