Summary: I found this vacation VRBO cabin listing in a familiar area I like in Colorado. We enjoyed the cabin, and its setting, more than I can say. The cabin was EVEN BETTER than indicated in the listing. It was PERFECT for us. It IS a Simple Cabin - with everything you could possibly need for a stay. And Charlie, was the Perfect Host. Summary: The beauty and sound of the river flowing beside the cabin was mesmerizing and so relaxing! The perfect location as we were in easy driving distance of Estes park and took advantage of several hiking opportunities. It's not everyday that you can walk down a city street/golf course and see a herd of Elk walking by! We loved this place! Charlie was an excellent host!

Summary: Charlie had everything covered and then some!! The cabin is clean and very comfortable. The location can’t be beat!!! Crack the windows and the music of the water will fill your rooms. Summary: It has not been 48 hours since we left the cabin and I am longing to return. You are completely away from city life in a rural environment in the Rockies. We have photos of hummingbirds at feeders outside the kitchen window, the Middle St Vrain River rushing past the cabin, we loved the smell of pine, and the sounds of a variety of birds. The host is an exceptionally nice man who loves the environment and knows the area well.

Summary: Charlie's place is in a beautiful setting, on the banks of the St. Vrain river. The two bedrooms overlook the water, and the sound lulls you to sleep. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, all the basics and everything you would need to cook for several people. Living room and beds were very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the patio down by the river, relaxing and watching hummingbirds. Charlie is one of those people you immediately like, very welcoming and eager to tell you about the local nature and area.
