Summary: Our stay at the Steamboat Stopover Ranch in Cedarville was nothing short of amazing. Pam is an absolutely incredible host—welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful in every way. The lodge feels so warm and homey, with the most breathtaking views that truly make it a slice of paradise. Every detail is perfectly curated, and it has absolutely everything you could possibly need for a complete and relaxing getaway. This was our second visit, and it certainly won’t be our last. We can’t wait to return again and again to this special place. Highly recommend!

Summary: Great location to view Surprise Valley and learn its history. Hosts provided a great tour of a working ranch and offered minor changes that could accommodate our horse trail riding group for a future visit. Allowed us to check in a little early in order to get a quick tour before dark.

Summary: This property was AMAZING! Worked out perfect for our last minute plans we needed to stay in Cedarville to visit my grandpa over the Thanksgiving weekend. We come to Cedarville every Thanksgiving as our family is over at our family ranch in Vya, NV and as our family grows we need more space. Steamboat Stop gave us exactly that! Created lots of memories & we all can’t wait to go back!
