Positive: Watching deer browse out our back window. Our room was more of a suite. It was great having beds in separate rooms. The refrigerator actually kept our ice bags frozen, which was great for a road trip. Very quiet.

Negative: Satellite TV kept cutting in and out, especially the first night. No point trying to watch.

Summary: Quiet and comfortable, but satellite TV is flakey

Positive: This little motel was a haven after driving from Pyramid Lake to Alturas that evening. It was very clean, the bed was great, and the shower felt wonderful. That's all I needed, and I had no complaints. It's not fancy and there aren't a lot of amenities, but it covers the necessities very well. I love that it was beautifully quiet there and that even on a 105°July day the temp got down into the 50's that night and I was able to turn off the A/C and open the windows for sleeping.

Negative: I didn't have any complaints. For about $75 , I got what I paid for- a clean, quiet, comfortable night's sleep. And maybe a little bit more.

Positive: The front desk was friendly and always available. This was an excellent choice for my unexpected stay. Quiet and near everything. Great room with everything I needed.

Negative: The coffee was placed in a container for usage, not very safe. They need individual packaging or none. I didn't drink the coffee.
