Positive: I got what I was looking for: convenient hotel in the heart of the city. The location may look a bit sketchy as it's in the epicenter of nightlife, but I didn't have any issues with that.

Positive: The room was small but well appointed. The staff is very nice, and the location provides easy access to the Gukje Market, Jagalchi Fish Market, BIFF square, Lotte Mall, and a fun shopping district. There was a little welcome gift in the room, which we appreciated.

Negative: The lobby has a strong smell... my partner said it smelled like the urinal cakes or mothballs. It's really offputting. The rooms do not have any odor (thank goodness). The bathroom was a bit disappointing. One of the outlets didn't work; the tub/shower combination is fiberglass and it flexes when you step in or out. It only has a barely-below-the-tub-top curtain to keep the water in, and it doesn't work very well as evidenced by the caulk separation and discoloration around the tub at the floor level.

Positive: Cleanliness, location, comfortable beds, accommodating staff, location.

Negative: Lobby had a slightly weird smell. Uber drivers couldn’t seem to find us in front of the hotel half the time.
