Our lovely little cottage is a level 100m walk from the picturesque High Street with its boutique shops, markets, historic sites and restaurants. The property was comprehensively renovated in 2016 and has an eclectic mix of vintage and contemporary furnishings to a very high standard. The owners personally clean and prepare the house for every guest to ensure the standards are of the highest order, a food pack and flowers are provided to welcome you. Very sorry but we don't accept dogs.
The accommodation comprises of a well equipped kitchen/diner on the ground floor, a large lounge with Juliette balcony on the first floor and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the second floor. We have a shed for 2 bicycles/pushchairs too. It is perfect for couples of all ages and there is room for a travel cot adjacent the bed (we can supply cot and high-chair) - it's perfect for romantic and cultural breaks, wildlife watching @ the nature reserves, cycling/walking and has much to offer at any time of year .

Summary: Absolutely perfect cottage. Great location, very clean, very comfortable, charming place. We stayed one week at the cottage and wish we could have spent another week. We enjoyed having a few nights staying in, the nice kitchen and wonderful sitting room made it easy to have dinner and relaxing evenings in. We enjoyed the nice garden space as well. The hosts are attentive and helpful. They provided us with useful information about Wells including, food, shopping etc. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: We needed to be within close walking distance of the Cathedral for the whole week and this lovely cottage was ideally located in a quiet residential area 5 minutes from the City Centre. We were lucky to find free street parking close by. The property met all expectations and had recently been totally refurbished. Very helpful hosts who arranged early access for us. We would 100% recommend for any single person or couple who are able to manage living accommodation over three floors.
