Positive: The whole layout of the lodges were so private but also didn't feel trapped in. For the little space inside there was everything there needed and space managed amazingly. Al essentials and more that was needed -(, cooker microwave fridge freezer dishwasher all crockery cutlery cleaning essentials us sockets! Air fryer toaster) was all there and everything neatly fitted and stored with still allowing so much space . The owner(&wife) were nice so laid back but welcoming and made the effort when passing to conversate evrytime, maintenance / handy man was also a nice guy and made effort with myself and my son. couldn't ask for more in my stay here I will be back for sure!
Negative: Not a complaint as such but more of a secured garden for my pup to be able to run about, not a major issue as he enjoyed the walks about the open grounds.

Positive: It was a lovely place to stay (the train line directly adjacent was a little difficult noise wise especially Friday) The hot tub and fire pit were brilliant and added to our stay … and the countryside beautiful. Access is very easy, and the parking on site great. We loved the style of the lodges… very cool… and the interior was nice. The kitchen was random… lots of equipment like oven/kettle/airfryer/toaster… but the air fryer and toaster were on top of the wall units with no way of getting them down… there was only one baking dish which was tricky when oven cooking, and 4 plates (in a lodge that sleeps 4!) The bedrooms and bathroom were clean but the kitchen wasn’t all that clean and the windows (inside and out) were really grubby. The host was very helpful tho. We did have construction workers and a digger in our garden which wasn’t great but they weren’t there out of hours. Overall we really enjoyed it, but some of the things mentioned above were a little disappointing.

Positive: Alan and his wife were fabulous, talked through everything, very friendly, gave directions and recommendations. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable and fabulous setting, hot tub and fire bowl just perfect! Will return for sure and Definitely recommend.
