Positive: The cottage is so lovely but it was just the friendly cows that were the icing on the cake!! They greeted us every morning and tea time, waiting under the tree!!! The location was perfect for all our hikes and nearby Bakewell.

Positive: Nice cottage close to Chrome hill with lots of parking. Nice fireplace with a basket of complimentary wood.

Negative: Given mobile signal is poor in the area we were relying on the WiFi. We had WiFi for 2 days and no WiFi for the other 2 days. We couldn't reset the router as was in another property in the compound which was inaccessible. The kitchen and living room was a bit chilly.

Positive: Spacious, comfortably furnished, good kitchen to work in.

Negative: A bit chilly by the afternoons, heat was night storage heat and the weather was cold and raining so we were in the cottage more than would have been if weather were good. With wood stove going all the time and top up from elec heater the sitting room was made warmer, but other rooms not so comfortable.

Positive: perfect location in gorgeous countryside, well away from everyone else... bliss we could walk from the front door without havimg to bother taking the car out.

Negative: the property was a bit cold, although it was around 0 when we visited.

Summary: would deffinately stay in this cottage again.
