The Beach House is a nature lover's paradise only steps from one of the most beautiful, long private beaches on the eastern seaboard. Three miles of shelling, and every water sport you can think of is only 30 yards down the path from this beachfront house. The sunsets over Essex Bay, islands and conservation land will astound you. The screened in outdoor dining room provides exquisite al fresco nights of entertaining. The large deck on the west side of the house facing the bay is surrounded by dunes, and has hosted numerous clambakes and barbecues.
Many people fly fish right off the beach. Last year a neighbor brought in a 36" striped bass. A rich flounder hole is 20 yards off the beach, and people dig world famous Essex clams down on the point.
The bedrooms and living room are furnished in a stylish Nantucket cottage decor.
The house is at the end of the road in a private, exclusive community. Children can bicycle and roller blade up and down the drive.

Summary: We are definitely renting again. The house is simple and affordable and we comfortably slept 7 of us. It's so great to walk right out the door and be on the beach. I loved the outdoor shower and sun deck. We had fun dinners every night out on the screened porch and woke up early for a long run down the beach. If you love nature this is the place to be.

Summary: Growing up, I spent several days every summer at Wingaersheek Beach (public). I always wondered what was on the “other side of the rocks.” This past June I finally had the opportunity to satisfy my curiosity. Pulling up to the back of the house, I just knew this would be a great spot! A quintessential beach house with a wraparound deck, with panoramic water views - this was everything I could have wanted. Private, peaceful, and the smell of the ocean!! The house was so comfortable, with lots of room for guests, but the location trumped it all. Loved sitting on the deck, watching the boats come in after a day out on the water – and going up and over the dunes to the private beach. Weather was perfect – honestly, nothing could have been better except having been able to stay longer. I highly recommend this spot!

Summary: We really love this place. The privacy of the house as well as the beach was incredible. I fell in love with this house before I even saw it, because I was entranced by the long, winding white-sand car track leading up to the house.

Summary: LOVED IT! SUPERB PRIVACY AND WALK ON ACCESS TO BEAUTIFUL SANDY BEACH. YET, CLOSE ENOUGH TO GREAT SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS IN NEARBY ESSEX AND IPSWICH. WOULD CONSIDER COMING BACK AGAIN. WOULD RECOMMEND MY FRIENDS.

Summary: My experience was magical! The house is spacious and clean with direct access to a gorgeous private beach. I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. The views from the expansive deck are not to be believed. The sunsets were breathtaking. Great for entertaining friends. I would highly recommend it to others and plan to rent again next summer.

Summary: I have had the great pleasure of staying at Ben's beach house a number of times in the last 4 or 5 years.It is my favorite place in the world. The beach house is an absolute classic.It is very comfortable,spacious and right.on.the.water. The stunning views of the ocean and the pristine shoreline surrounding the house make you feel completely connected and in tune with the natural environment. Step off the deck and you are on a white,sandy beach which stretches for miles. Ben's house is the perfect place to kick back with the family and friends.
