3 Bedroom House in Langlois

Our lakefront home is 2558 sq ft with an additional 540 sq ft detached guest house. Unobstructed lake views are enjoyed from almost every room of the main house. The guest house also has views of the Lake. The master bedroom/bath are on the main level with the kitchen, dining, living room and the main bath. We installed a spacious new deck with cable railing to enjoy the amazing views. The upper level is a 400 sq ft suite with a full bath. The family room and a spacious 3rd bedroom are on the lower level.
We completed a full remodel in 2018 with a chef's kitchen featuring a Blue Star 6 burner professional range set into a large, granite island and all new appliances. The guest house is a studio with a Murphy bed, custom bath, full kitchen and spacious walk in closet. It has an additional storage/laundry room making it perfect multigenerational living or a rental.
Our private boat dock and boat house are right below the house. You can catch trout right off the dock. We have two kayaks, a 1- person and a 2- person kayak that will stay with the property

Summary: The house was beautiful, clean and well supplied. There was plenty of room for our party of 5 and one toddler. Situated on the lake afforded wonderful views and opportunities to fish for trout (although the 3 day Oregon fishing license cost $60). The bed on the first floor was too soft and very uncomfortable. Only allowing one car in the driveway and one on the road was a bit odd (we had 3 cars) but overall it was a great stay.

Summary: Overall, my family had an enjoyable stay at this home. The quiet location on Floras Lake was beautiful and you could even hear the ocean at times. The property manager was also very attentive to our needs and the kitchen was well stocked. A couple of things to note: the stairs down to the dock are uneven and the dock is very small. Probably not ideal for small children or elderly family members. The downstairs bedroom had a very musty smell that was so strong, it was difficult to sleep. Lastly, there was barely any water pressure (especially when someone else was using water) creating bathing and washing challenges for a big group. Overall, my family enjoyed our trip and had a great time.

Summary: We enjoyed Morning Star's home. It is beautiful and comfortable. This is the 2nd year we've stayed there. Very enjoyable. Our activities centered around Bandon. It is totally worth the drive.
