Summary: The house listing was accurate. The house was very clean, well-stocked, had pretty views of the harbor. We loved the short walking distance into town to the local restaurants and shops. The location on Mt. Desert Island was great for visiting Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and other local stops. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Summary: We’re a remote team that wanted to connect in person, enjoy some great food, and incredible scenery. We stayed here for an extended weekend while we visited the park, engaged in team building, and planned for upcoming changes. The house set the perfect tone and was a wonderful home base for our adventures. It was beautiful, spacious, well-appointed, and a fantastic location!

Summary: We just had a really nice week of hiking, biking and relaxing on MDI and Southwest Sun was a great home in a great location. We had plenty of room, sunrise views were really awesome and it was very easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go. The owner was easy to reach and very responsive to our questions. Our whole family would recommend this home.
