Positive: Bed was very comfortable. Views from the window out onto the fields so lovely.

Negative: On arrival there was no welcome pack ie how to use things, uselful info etc and nothing about WIFI what we could find was terrible. It would of been nice to arrive at the property with a light and heating on as we arrived in pitch black and the property felt cold (hosts knew our arrival time). Also the fridge, oven and microwave could of been cleaner. My fault as I didn't realise the property didn't have a TV but even a radio would of been nice to have on a shelf.

Positive: The cottage is sensitively and tastefully furnished and decorated. We love the style. It is spacious enough for our 5-member family. There is a quality kitchenware. The hosts are nice a communicative. Marlborough is a nice little historical town. At first, we thought this location would be a good place to visit Stonehenge but forget the tourist trap and rather visit Avebury! It is a 15-mins. drive and the dolmens are huge as well and it is much larger area easy to access at any time. If you lake nature, I'd recommend Severnake Forest SE of Marlborough. There are really some old trees - they were more than 500 years old when little Robin Hood cousins played hide-and-seek around here somewhere. We were relieved to use the washing machine (although with a limited options to hang the clothes though).

Negative: I understand there is a little to do about it but the adjacent A-road is very busy from the morning till the evening. If the cabin was located somewhere secluded and had more greenery in the yard, I would give this type of accommodation a 10 out of 10.

Summary: Beautiful decoration style. A-road nearby is unpleasant. Close to awesome Avebury!

Negative: We didn’t have a tv. Personally not an issue but we supported a person with autism and she love watching tv to calm down. But other than that the person we supported loved her stay.

Positive: Very welcoming hosts. Spacious accommodation which suited our family of four adults. All very clean and newly decorated. Very well equipped and having a washing machine was a bonus. Good flat parking for two cars right next to the building. Very handy for walking the Ridgeway or cycling around the little lanes.

Positive: The space was beautifully presented with a lot of thought behind the interior design. The was well built allowing everyone privacy as each room was nice and quiet. Having outside space was a bonus. We liked the comfortable beds and calming decor as well as having the use of hairdryer, washing machine and iron.

Negative: There was a limited amount of kitchen equipment and utensils which would have been more challenging if there had been 6 guests. Some equipment needed cleaning and at least 1 pan didn’t work on the induction hob. We think as there was no tv and limited WiFi more books and games would have been nice. The addition of one hand towel each would have been helpful. Seating looked lovely but would again be difficult for 6 people with it largely aimed at 4 people.

Summary: Comfortable and welcoming accommodation.
