Negative: The check in process was poor. The host was absent and it took 5 phone calls to find out it was self check in. This could & should have been sent by email or the booking app.

Positive: Lovely kitchen facilities, great that we were able to access for extra cooking or heating up food.

Negative: It wasn't a very pleasant experience upon reaching the homestead and not finding anyone to greet us,the entire property was empty of people. There was a mobile number at the door to the dining area which we phoned, this was answered by a lady who had no idea what we were talking about when we said that we were at the property. We phoned the number on Bookings and the owner phoned us back with instructions about which one was our room.

Summary: I think that there needs to be a human presence while there are guests staying for security.

Positive: Superb view from all 4 suites with outside room undercover setting to take in that view with a coffee or other. Recent build in federation style with large comfortable king bed and very comfortable in room lounge chairs. Clean bathroom with plenty of hot water. There is also a communal breakfast room with microwave and toasters etc. Very peaceful.

Negative: Only a minor issue but the in room TV was very small for this size room. Needs a bigger screen and support of all HDTV channels.

Positive: Self-catering well set up, dining room has everything one would need. Bedroom/bathroom clean and again well provisioned. A quiet, beautiful setting.
